Work side-by-side with our experienced staff in the rescue, rehabilitation and release of the animals of the Amazon! You will learn about the proper dietary nutrition and feeding schedules for each animal, as well as administering medicines for our animals that are recuperating. Becoming a Volunteer for the Amazon allows you to get the know the animals on a very personal level as you spend day-to-day caring for the animals.

I Want To Work Directly Animals

Are you a “Animal Person” who loves all aspects of animals? Then this position is perfect for you!!! The perfect person to be this “Volunteer” loves working directly with animals and is not shy in holding and/or caring for these animals. We are looking for highly passionate people who genuinely want to learn to care for these animals that will eventually be released back into the Amazon. Duties would include preparing food for the animals, feeding the animals, administering medicine to sick animals, cleaning feces from their areas, taking direction and coordinating with other employees and onsite managers. A intermediate level of Spanish is required.

This “Volunteer” should be caring and passionate for animals and is eager to learn about the endangered animals of the Amazon.

This “Volunteer” can choose shifts to work in the early mornings or arrive late to work in the evenings. The volunteer will receive a free lunch everyday when working.

I Want To Make Videos

Are you a filmmaker who wants to use their super powers for good??? Then you are exactly the type of “Volunteer” we are looking for! We are looking for every talented filmmakers who can create stunning spellbinding videos to best communicate our message of wildlife conservation and our work in the rescue, rehabilitation, and release of endangered species of the Amazon. This “Volunteer” would be a highly passionate “self-starter” who wants to showcase their talent as an audio-visual communicator for the betterment of the Amazon. Work would also involve improving our already existing graphics and videos to have a bigger impact. Spanish is not a requirement but a plus.

I Want To Be A Tour Guide

Are you a “People Person” as well as an “Animal Person”? Then you are the “Volunteer” we are looking for!!! The perfect person to be this “Volunteer” is knowledgeable (or is willing to learn) about the animals of the Amazon and loves talking with people. I hope you’re not shy because this person has no problem leading large groups of people on tours. We are looking for highly motivated “Self-Starters” who are bilingual in Spanish and English who can give tours to our visitors at The Amazon Rescue Center. Duties would giving tours to local Peruvian tourists in Spanish, as well as large groups of foreign tourist in English.
